Life of Pi: The Artist Edition
Each copy of this special edition is signed by award-winning illustrator Andrea Serio and features 13 full-page colour illustrations and 3 vignettes. A hardback edition that is presented with a striking dust jacket depicting Richard Parker and Pi facing one another on a calm sea.
Printed offset across 288 pages, this edition will be published in June 2026.
The Artist Edition is strictly limited to just 227 copies — reflecting the number of days Pi was adrift at sea — this is a truly rare and highly collectible edition.
Andrea Serio - Illustrator

Andrea Serio's art is perfect to reimagine Life of Pi thanks to his evocative style and ability to balance realism with dreamlike atmosphere. His work captures both the vast beauty and underlying tension of the natural world—perfectly reflecting the novel’s shifting line between survival and imagination.
Using coloured pencils, he creates atmospheric scenes where architecture, landscapes, and figures seem to hover between memory and dream. His work is especially praised for its delicate handling of light and his ability to convey deep emotion through colour and composition.
Serio’s sensitivity to mood, light, and emotional depth makes him uniquely suited to bring Pi’s extraordinary journey vividly to life.
