GDPR compliance requires us to tell you about how we accept, store and use any personal data you give our company. This is very important to understand, so please take the time to read this page.
When someone visits our website we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
As part of the registration process for our regular e-newsletters, we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about art and books you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to invite you to events we exhibit at; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We have never purchased email lists or sold any email lists. Your data will never be passed on to another company or organisation unless we are legally compelled to do so. We may share your delivery information to companies that have to fulfil orders that you have placed with us.
Outside the internet your data is stored securely on our computer system database. If you have ordered a product through our ecommerce system, your data will be stored also on Shopify.com. We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our MailChimp emails or by emailing us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org. Shopify and MailChimp, as well as pair.com, who host this website, are US companies. They comply with the EU-US Privacy Shield principles and are subject to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the US Federal Trade Commission and other authorised statutory bodies.
You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Email your request to email@example.com and we will make the changes you request. We understand the importance of looking after your data, as it is your data. We take the responsibility of keeping you safe and secure very seriously. Thank you for trusting us.
