Henry Justice Ford (1860 - 1941) was born in London and was educated at Repton and Clare College, Cambridge, Slade and Bushey. He was a friend of Edward Burne-Jones. A Whole generation of Edwardians grew up with Ford’s illustrations to Andrew Lang’s Fairy Tales.
