The Original Art of Harry Clarke

The Original Art of Harry Clarke.
Harry Clarke (1890 – 1931) was born in 1890 in Dublin Ireland. In 1906 he worked under his father as an apprentice for a company that produced stained glass. He later went to the Dublin Metropolitan School of Art where we was awarded gold medals for his work.
Although he continued to work as a designer of stained glass, completing many projects in Ireland and the UK, he took up book illustration. His style is very much that of the Beardsley school. This gives his art a dark intrigue and his highly collected in Ireland and by other people that appreciate this style of work.
