Charity Auction - Buy Art Fair Manchester October 2008
Books Illustrated Ltd and its illustrators are happy to support the 'Five Star Scanner Appeal'
The following original artworks will be auctioned on the night of the 9th October, but for those of you that are unable to make the evening, we have decided to offer the works to our clients here as well. If you would like to place a bid on any of the illustrations now, we shall take the highest bidders offer and bid on that persons behalf at the evening. We will not bid higher than your bid and so the highest offer that we have on this web page could end up purchasing the item at a much lower price on the actual auction night. We can only accept email bids up to the Tuesday the 6th October at 8pm GMT. We shall email our highest bidder to let them know that we will be bidding for them after we close our internet offering. Of course you are very welcome to visit the fair and bid yourself on the night.
Each illustration is on card and measures 5.75" x 8.25" (150mm x 210mm). The artist has signed the reverse side of the painting.
All the money paid will go to charity which is planning to raise £1,000,000 for a MRI Scanner for the New Manchester Children's Hospital. We and our illustrators believe that this is a wonderful use of children's illustrations, so please support us.
